On the Robson River below Emperor Falls, Arthur Wheeler in 1911 described “a second big fall of 150 feet. It suggests the name of the ‘Fall of the Pool.’ Two-thirds of the way down is a tiny pool in the rock into which the water leaps; the lower part is more broken.”
